The Point Arena Light Station is a very special place, unlike any location or wedding site on the west coast. It is the closest point to Hawaii on the continental United States. From here, you can see migrating whales, harbor seals, migrating birds such as tundra swans, black cormorants, pelicans and swallows. Wild flowers are abundant, and the point has some of the rarest coastal varieties in the country.

historic keepers' quarters, located on the point, can accommodate family and friends (and yourselves of course). Many utilize these accommodations for receptions as they provide adequate seating and kitchen facilities. Other areas of interest for a wedding on the property are the historic Lighthouse Tower and historic Fog Signal Building. The Fog Signal Building can accommodate a group, however, museum displays cannot be removed. Wedding ceremonies can be held at the top of the Tower, or any other pre-arranged location on the point.
